New Orleans police investigate after man found shot to death on Odeon Street

The New Orleans Police Department is investigating after a man was found shot to death on Odeon Street in New Orleans.

The man was declared dead in the 13o0 block of Odeon Street.

Police say they received the call around 8:21 a.m. and found the man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) responsible for this incident, as well as a motive. No additional details are available at this time.

The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will identify the victim and official cause of death upon completion of autopsy and notification of family.
